Zunächst wird kurz auf die Entwicklung des Bundeskriminalamtes als wichtigste Ermittlungs- und Strafverfolgungsbehörde in Terrorismusverfahren eingegangen (Kapitel 2). Im Anschluss werden die Haftbedingungen für die Gefangenen der RAF dargelegt und unter verschiedenen Aspekten betrachtet (Kapitel 3). Darauf folgend werden die Hungerstreiks der RAF in den Gefängnissen und die Zwangsernährung durch die Vollzugsanstalten erörtert (Kapitel 4), bevor die gesetzlichen Änderungen der Legislative als Folge des Terrorismus der RAF untersucht werden (Kapitel 5).
